Damir Krivenko

He was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, to the family of an artist and arts critic. As a young man, he lived in Kazakhstan, where he had a personal gallery, working under the aegis of the President of Kazakhstan. His canvases were part of his gift fund. His paintings were presented to Bill Clinton, Emperor of Japan, Pope John Paul II, President of Uzbekistan, and other celebrities.

Then he lived and worked in the Czech Republic, where jointly with the Kazakhstan Embassy was involved in the organisation of exhibitions of Kazakhstani culture in the European countries, and took part in these exhibitions.

When he understood that in order to be able to develop as an innovating artist, he would need a calmer place and time – and he moved to Anapa, where he have lived for the past twenty year. Recently, he have created three new projects, including the development of a new painting trend, Paletteism.
