Arturo Palomba Gallery inaugurates a new exhibition space in Dubai on December 15, 2024 with the exhibition The Light of Ray by Mimmo Catania.

The choice to open the space in Dubai arises from a need to assert itself in an art market that is increasingly expanding towards the Middle East and that can support young, established and mid-career artistic instances that represent objective artistic qualities in today’s national and international art context.

The gallery is located in a villa in which the character of the Salon Galerie is chosen as an alternative to the classic contemporary space of the white cube, showing painting, sculpture, photography, video in an environment suitable for being perceived not only as a neutral context.

Mimmo Catania, artist based in Bemorlin for several decades, as the inauguration artist of the gallery will present paintings, oil on canvas and paper, in medium and large format from the last ten years in which the dialogue between different themes and topics will be the backdrop to an adventure and journey that has just begun.
