Born in Barnaul (1988). He is a graduate of GITIS and the Rodchenko School of Photography and Multimedia (Sergey Bratkov’s studio). Egor Fedorychev experiments with traditional forms of Art, including painting. He appropriates and transforms non-art materials in his works, balancing between sculpture and collage, painting and object. Fedorychev uses industrial materials – banners from old exhibitions and concerts, wrapping with half-erased names of construction companies, pieces of industrial fabric from building sites – to make political and socio-cultural statements within a certain historical context. Moreover, he turns to traditional techniques, employing „intuitive painting”, to offer his own ways of visualising music and poetry.
