Charles Abecassis is a French artist and designer born in Morocco. He is a graduate of the „\u00c8cole sup\u00e9rieure des arts et techniques de la mode” in Paris, where he received prizes from the „Institut de Cotton” and the „Charles Jourdan” brand for his designs while still a student. Over the course of his career in the fashion industry, he worked as a designer and collection coordinator for various high-end brands in Paris, New York and Berlin. He also pursued his own creative ambitions by founding his own boutique „Charles ABK6” in Paris and as a designer and interior decorator. In addition to his professional career as a designer, he continuously produced free artistic works. In keeping with his roots in the fashion industry, these free works are characterized by a mix of techniques and materials. Fabrics and wool threads are often incorporated. He also likes to use textile design techniques such as embroidery. Charles Abecassis lives and works in Berlin. Fantastic are his works in www.schlosshotelberlin.com. They come from everywhere, from the street as well as from his imagination, everything unfolds like a beam of light, a play of kaleidoscopes! the male body in its grace, in its robustness, in its power and in the extreme softness that emanates from it, in the intuitive scent behind its envelope. Like a screen that we open and close at will, a world hidden and revealed. A bright and dark world, a sometimes ambivalent world All these contrasts accompany the contemplation, the gaze and the hand invite themselves to the caress\u2026. Black, gold and vanilla are the inseparable colors. Light unfolds beyond the mystery; sometimes we can glimpse the male body in abstract landscapes.
Everything comes down to invitation, detachment, sensuality – to an intimate conversation. Wrapping cardboard and wool embroidery, new techniques, marry with the paintings to better reveal the sensitive or raw side of these men who are not afraid.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
